It’s almost that time of the year again when the City to Surf is upon us and the athlete within breaks out the sneakers to compete against their friends and colleagues or to raise money for their chosen charity. While none of us here at the Bang! office are game enough, one of our good friends Tim Guest, Managing Director of Infinite Wealth, is donning the skins for a good cause.Youth mental health is an issue Australia wide but particularly in WA the numbers are alarming. Research indicates that around 1 in 4 young people will have had a depressive disorder by the end of their adolescence and on average a young person commits suicide almost every week.One of the leading mental health support organisations in Western Australia is Youth Focus. Established in 1994 Youth Focus employs more than 40 mental health professionals and provides support for more than 1,100 teenagers and 200 families a year.Tim is hoping to raise $20,000 for this amazing cause so please get behind him if you can – any little bit helps.
