Hip hip hooray! On April 7th, we celebrated 12 years of Bang Digital. It’s been a wild ride so far, from the wonderful clients we’ve built relationships with to the amazing employees of both past and present we’ve had in our team. So as we approach our much anticipated teen years, we countdown some of our favourite highlights from the last 12 months. Read on to find out what made the list!1. We won a Google Premier Partner AwardIn December, Bang Digital took out top spot for the Display Innovation Award at the 2018 Google Premier Partner Awards. After being shortlisted for the award in 2017, we were super excited to secure the win. Our Managing Director, Renae, and Head of Digital, Jack, flew over to Sydney to accept the award and celebrate with our industry peers and friends at Google.

2. We released our 2019 WA Digital Marketing ReportFor the sixth consecutive year, Bang Digital released its annual WA Digital Marketing Report. The first report of its kind in WA, our aim is to provide insights into the state of digital marketing so WA businesses can benchmark themselves against others and gain an edge over the competition. This year, we were able to delve into even deeper insights which made for our most exciting report to date. 3. We hosted our Google Connect EventIn March, Bang Digital hosted our second Google Connect Event on customer centric digital. Partnering with our mates at Google, the Bang team (Renae, Brad & Geordie) presented on the importance of placing the customer at the centre of your digital marketing decisions. An exclusive event for all our fabulous clients, the morning was a complete success and the feedback was extremely positive.

4. Renae was shortlisted for a Telstra Business Women’s AwardsIn 2019, Bang Digital’s Managing Director, Renae, was named as a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards. Out of the 750 people who applied, Renae was 1 of the 5 women shortlisted for the WA Small Business Award. Recognised for breaking down barriers in the digital space, Renae was in the presence of some truly amazing women who make such significant contributions to WA business and we couldn’t be prouder.

5. We developed some very exciting productsOver the last 12 months, Bang Digital have introduced a suite of exciting new products and services. Specifically, our Rockit website solutions for specific industries took off in June. A pre-built system with best practice features and pages, it’s an innovative, efficient, mobile-responsive website solution that delivers the benefits of a custom website build at a cost-effective price point. 6. We attended several exciting Google eventsAs a Google Premier Partner, our team are fortunate enough to attend a range of exclusive training opportunities with Google. Over the last 12 months, we went to several exciting events and workshops that allow us to stay on the cutting edge of what’s happening in search to better service our clients. These included the Google Summer Spirit Festival, Google Partner Summit,Google Perthformance Workshop and Google Womenwill Lead Event (which Renae was also a guest speaker at!).

7. We welcomed new clients on boardAt Bang Digital, we truly partner with our clients and consider ourselves part of their team from the get-go. In the last 12 months, we’ve welcomed a bunch of new clients on board and begun work on some very exciting projects. From conversion rate optimisation& chatbot strategies to search&social campaigns, we love helping our clients take their digital activity to the next level. 8. We expanded our teamAs we take on more clients and projects, Bang Digital has had to expand our team as well. As our business has grown from strength-to-strength, so has our amazing team. In the last 12 months, we’ve had to say a few sad goodbyes to some old faces as they move onto the next chapter, but we’ve also welcomed some new ones. Now, the Bang Digital family is at 19 and counting!9. We moved into our brand new officeIn March, Bang Digital became the newest members of the West Perth neighbourhood. Over the last 12 months, Renae worked tirelessly with the team at Perth Citi Fitout to plan the relocation to our brand new space and we couldn’t be happier the the finished product.
