Our services for non-profits
Bang Digital have the skills and experience to help NFPs manage their Google Ads activity. We can help you target your market with pinpoint accuracy using Google Ads extensions that make your ads stand out in the crowded NFP space. Then, we can help measure your results to see what keywords are delivering leads and for what cost, so you can get the most out of your spend.
We can also help you set up Google Ad Grants. Google Ad Grants provide free Google Ads advertising – of up to $10,000 USD per month – on Google search results pages, to eligible NFP organisations. Designed to help organisations extend their public service messages to a global audience, we can help you use Google Ad Grants to recruit more volunteers, attract more donations and share your story with your target market.
As a Google Premier Partner (Google’s elite programme for agencies) Bang Digital have the tools and support needed to help our clients succeed in Google Ads. The programme gives us exclusive access to a Google Account Manager who we can chat with if and when things go wrong and get insider knowledge on the latest technologies.
With Australians spending up to 2 hours a day on social media, now has never been a better time to make the most of your NFPs social media reach. And the great thing about social media marketing is we know who these people are. Never before in the history of marketing have we had such targeted access to the public.

St John Ambulance WA is known as the State’s leading ambulance service, but beyond that they also offer first aid training, urgent care services and free training for schools. Overall, their main aim is make first aid part of everyone’s life.
One of our very first clients, Bang have been working with St John since 2008. During this time we have looked after their SEO, SEM, eDM and social commenting strategies. “We love working with the team – I think I call Steph 3 times a day!” says St John Digital Marketing Consultant, Eloise Pitts. “They’re always happy to answer my questions and work within the scope of our briefs.”
And when it comes to standing out from the crowd, Eloise cannot stress the importance of their digital marketing efforts in the competitive NFP space. “Digital marketing brings in a significant ROI whether that be for recruiting volunteers or enrolling schools into our free first aid training,” she says. “We wouldn’t be able to do as much without digital marketing.”
It’s been a great 10 years with St John and Bang cannot wait to watch their brand continue to dominate the digital space. And the same goes for St John, with Eloise saying: “We really enjoy working with Bang and see our relationship working long into the future as well.”
Cancer Council WA
Cancer Council WA (CCWA) is the State’s leading cancer charity, working to support families affected by cancer by providing practical and financial support as well as finding new ways to better detect, treat and defeat cancer.
However, as a NFP organisation they’re reliant on community support to continue this work. That’s why maintaining a strong online presence is crucial for CCWA. So to help them achieve this, they partnered with Bang Digital to look after their SEO and Google Ads activity.
“Bang help us manage and get the most out of our Google Ads Grant each month and ensure we’re continually raising awareness about the services we provide for the WA community,” says CCWA Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Elise Wareing. “They also ensure that our cancer information and resources are reaching people when they need them most through our SEO strategy.”
Acknowledging digital marketing as cost-effective, adaptable and easy to measure, Elise goes on to say: “Digital is the perfect platform to raise awareness about our support services and cancer information as we know people use Google as a key resource when looking for information.”
And of working with Bang Digital, she says: “Bang are great to work with! The team are constantly striving to improve our campaign results and provide valued insights and recommendations that have led us to achieve great results in the digital space over the past few months.”
Alzheimer’s WA is a NFP working with Western Australians living with dementia and the carers, families, communities and organisations that support them. Their aim is to advocate, educate, support and engage with these people so they can improve the lived experience of dementia.
To help them achieve this, digital marketing has proven critical for Alzheimer’s WA. “We live in a world that’s increasingly online so we need to be able to connect, engage and provide information for people who’re concerned about their memory or living with dementia,” says Alzheimer’s WA Marketing and Engagement Manager, Moira McKechnie.
Working with Alzheimer’s WA since early 2017, Bang Digital have helped develop their website and provided ongoing SEO and Google Ads assistance. Setting up a Google Ads Grant account, their results have continued to climb month-on-month and have gone from not ranking at all to ranking first for 9 of their keywords.
“The team have been great, very professional and easy to work with,” says Moira. “They also provide solutions to meet our budgets.” Bang have loved working with Alzheimer’s WA so far and cannot wait to watch their organic results continue to improve.

Every donation the Foundation receives is made available to the hospital to ensure children and adolescents receive the best care possible so they have the chance to live their happiest and healthiest lives.
Helping with their Google Ads, Bang Digital have fostered a great working relationship with PCHF over the years. “Our account managers have always been so open with us and offered great suggestions on how we can improve our Ads strategy,” says PCHF Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Sharn Sewell. “The monthly reporting has also been great as it’s important for us to see how Ads sits with our existing marketing strategy.”
When asked why they place so much importance on digital marketing, Sharn says: “The NFP space, especially in Perth, is quite a crowded market. We’re all competing for the same donation dollars, so any competitive advantage we can get it really important.”
