Can you believe the year is already drawing to a close? If feels like it was only yesterday that we were saying goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017. So with Christmas around the corner and New Years Eve close behind, we thought we’d take a quick trip down memory lane and revisit some of the highlights of 2017. Here’s what happened in the Bang office this year:We turned 10!April 7 marked the day Bang Digital had been operating for an entire decade and what an amazing ride it has been! From the initial steps of our Managing Director Renae to now being a business of 15 employees, Bang Digital has grown exponentially. From those first few years working with clients like St John and adultshop.com who are still with us to this day to seeing team members come and go (and come back again!), it’s been an exciting 10 years of change and growth and we can’t wait to see what’s in store in 2018.
Our annual WA Marketing Report still going strongThis year we released our Western Australian Marketing Report 2017 to a great response. The very first report of its kind to focus on digital in WA, our annual report is currently in its fourth year and continues to gain momentum with no sign of slowing down. Shedding light on the way industry sectors are using digital marketing in WA, the report provides WA businesses with valuable data to make informed decisions about their digital strategies. In 2018, we have partnered again with independent market research experts Research Solutions to help shine some light on the state of digital marketing in the new year. We can’t wait for you to see what we found so keep an eye out!
We were shortlisted for a Google Premier Partner awardIn 2017, Google announced it would be hosting its first ever global awards program to recognise and celebrate the top performing Premier Partners and their contributions to digital marketing, product innovation and client growth.With approximately 2,000 Partners eligible to enter the awards, Bang Digital made it through to the highly competitive shortlist and were announced as one of the two finalists for the Display Innovation Award in the AU/NZ region! While we didn’t take out first place, it was such an honour to be considered as a finalist and was extremely gratifying to be acknowledged for our hard work in helping our clients achieve their digital marketing efforts in 2017.
Our brand new Rockit service was ready for take off2017 was a year of growth and development for Bang Digital as we worked hard to expand and innovate our services. Introducing our first ever automated website solution, our Rockit Website Package was launched in 2017!A solution that delivers on all your business needs, without compromising on the quality and integrity of your website, the Bang Digital Rockit Website Solution was born and we can’t wait to see it continue to grow in 2018.
So many Google events!We love being a Google Premier Partner as it gives us the tools and support to help our clients succeed online. From hosting our first Retail Connect Event to attending the Google Masterclass 2017 in Sydney, the unique learning opportunities provided by the Google Premier Partners program is phenomenal. It’s exclusive access to events like these that allows our team to gain insights and stay informed with trend reports and best practice guidelines to ensure our clients get the most out of their digital strategy. We can’t wait to see what’s on next year and start circling our calendars!
The Bang family grewWhile it’s always sad to see people leave, it’s also exciting to expand our team and look towards the future of Bang Digital. Bringing on new clients and continuing to work with existing ones, we were able to grow once again and add new team members. So thanks to the Bang team this year for all their hard work and here’s to even more exciting times ahead!
