MyPlaceIQ by Advantage Air is an intelligent air-conditioning solution, designed to optimise home comfort and energy efficiency by learning how people use their spaces. Through an intuitive mobile app, homeowners can easily control and monitor their air-conditioning, gain insights into usage, and reduce running costs and energy consumption. Bang Digital has partnered with Advantage Air for over 16 years.
Advantage Air was re-imagining the MyPlace product, which required a shift in both target audience and how the product was positioned digitally. There was a need to clearly separate Advantage Air and MyPlace into two distinct digital experiences, each with its own audience, messaging, customer journey and performance strategy.
A key challenge was translating a technically advanced air-conditioning system into a clear, approachable solution that appealed to everyday homeowners — not just tech-savvy users.
Bang Digital worked closely with Advantage Air through a detailed discovery and strategy phase. A core insight shaped the approach: MyPlace customers are less interested in technical specifications and more focused on solving everyday comfort problems.
